Comment: The dredging of Lake Como has deepened the lake and restricted beds of spatterdock to small scattered areas like the cove just west of the Delaware Home and Hospital and shallow areas in the upper end of the lake. Microscopic algae often color the water green during the summer months, but do not impede fishing.
