Comment: Hydrilla has covered much of this pond for the past decade. Floating algae mats walso abundant, often covered with duckweed, watermeal, and another non-native species Azolla or water fern. Azolla is similar to duckweed but has a bumpy appearance and a reddish coloration. Applications of aquatic herbicides in combination with the Division of Fish and wildlife's aquatic weed harvester have been used to control this vegetation.
Numerous stumps and logs.
