Red Mill Pond Description
Right off the main highway on rt.#1 before Lewes.Any size boat, no motor restrictions. This is a BIG FISH LAKE. It is semi-private, meaning that you need to live on the lake, or have permission to launch from an owner. It is loaded with giant bass. There are not a lot of numbers of bass, but on average they are all 2 1/2 to 9 pounds. Most bass you catch will average 3-4 pounds. Red Mill Pond is just north of Nassau as you go down Rt. 1...Costal Highway. Traveling south, it sits off to the right of the road. If you know the arched bridge that comes into Five Points, it is a bit north of there....a few miles north of the turn off to Lewes. Red Mill Pond is perhaps one mile in length and is mostly built up with homes varying from modest to extravagant.
